2024 Anthology Submissions Are Open!
This year, our theme is Parallels and Paradox! We’re looking forward to seeing you puzzle through unnamable contradictions! This anthology is open to anyone living in Edmonton or surrounding areas between the ages of 14-25 to submit.
We accept any form of artwork that can be printed. This includes:
i) Poetry (40 lines max)
ii) Prose (eg. short stories, letters) (750 words max)
iii) Digital artwork (300 PPI min, 4x6 or 5x5 inches min OR min file size of 100MB)
iv) Photography (300 PPI min, 4x6 or 5x5 inches min OR min file size of 100MB)
v) Photos of visual artwork (300 PPI min, 4x6 or 5x5 inches min OR min file size of 100MB)
vi) Audio files (eg. songs, composition)
Each artist can submit up to 3 pieces.
Early bird deadline: November 26th, 2023

Get creative, Edmonton! Each year, Ink Movement produces an annual anthology to give local youth between the ages of 14-24 a platform to express themselves artistically. We want to hear your voice on what topics matter to you!
Feel the itch, but can't think of what you want to create? This year, our prompt is "Future & Nostalgia!" Feel free to take our prompt as loose inspiration to showcase your thoughts on anything from what changes you foresee in the new decade, to your favourite childhood memories.
In terms of content, we’re accepting any form of artwork that can be printed. This includes:
i) Poetry (35 lines max)
ii) Prose (eg. short stories, letters) (2000 words max)
iii) Digital artwork
iv) Photography
